Challenger production to jump

LOW-key gold producer Dominion Mining has reported a solid quarter of production at its Challenger underground mine in South Australia, but the focus was on completing an expansion which will see output increase to 120,000 ounces per annum.

The current production rate at Challenger is around 100,000ozpa. The mine produced 20,082oz gold at cash costs of $A627 per ounce in the December quarter, compared with 17,605oz at cash costs of $683/oz...
