Polaris leads the way

TOP movers on the Australian bourse were led by Polaris Metals, with the junior soaring 41.2% to close at 36c after announcing a new iron ore discovery in the Central Yilgarn region of Western Australia, including one deposit with a target potential of 35-50 million tonnes of iron ore. Other stocks to make a splash on the ASX included Niagara Mining, up 24% at $1.30, and Atlas Iron, up 15% at 85c.
