SPOT gold was trading at $US937 an ounce, down 0.28%, at 4.00pm AEDT. Precious metal plays on the <i>Final Call</i> watchlist were mixed. Newcrest Mining closed the session 1% higher at $A31.40, Lihir Gold finished unchanged at $3.15, while Sino Gold Mining added 1.6% to $5.15.
