Iluka owns 75% of Kobe Tin, which has been in production on Bangka Island for 28 years. The mine operates multiple gravel pumps and dredges.

Management has decided to suspend operations at the remote gravel pump sites in order to prevent any theft of tin concentrate during the current period of lawlessness.

Koba is Iluka’s highest risk asset. Its other mines are mainly in Australia and the United States.
