China to boost magnesium production

A FURTHER 6000-7000 tonnes of magnesium ingot will hit the market in 2002 after China's Ningxia Zhongning Aluminium starts production at its new 12,000t a year line in April/May, according to <I>Platts Metals</I> news service.
