INSG: Nickel output, demand seen rising in 2002

WESTERN world primary nickel production rose 4% to 801,900 tonnes last year from 770,500t in 2000 on the back of higher output from Columbia, Australia, Norway and Canada, according to Netherlands-based International Nickel Study Group.
