Pipeline deal a boon for mineral processors

AN early go-ahead for the PNG-Queensland pipeline is likely after Papua New Guinea producers, led by ExxonMobil, signed a gas supply agreement with Australian Gas Light Co, opening the possibility of a cheap energy source for mineral processors in the state.
