Croesus comes into view

AS THE gold price bounded to two-year highs last month, investors turned their attention to Australia's dwindling band of mid-tier producers. One of those was Kalgoorlie stalwart Croesus Mining, which jumped onto the radar screen of fund managers after its recent $75 million merger with WMC-controlled Central Norseman Gold Corp.
